Antioxidant Berry Smoothie

Ready for the easiest way to pack a nutritional punch to your body today?  A drink laden with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and glow inducing ingredients?

People tend to underestimate the power of a homemade smoothie, how awesome, rejuvenating, and fabulous for your health it is.

Four ingredients only.  Here is how to make this nutritional powerhouse (just a few ingredients and a blender are needed):


-About one cup of frozen or fresh berries

-1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt (try to get the type with the least added sugar)

-About 1 cup of almond milk (also unsweetened)

-1-2 tablespoons of honey

Toss everything in a blender or Nutribullet and turn it on.  About 30-45 seconds later, you’ve got yourself a cool treat worthy of writing home about.  I sometimes sprinkle mine with a tablespoon ish of dairy-free chocolate chips.  Such a scrumptious pairing.

If the smoothie (on finishing blending) is too thick, add a bit more almond milk and blend for 10-15 more seconds.  If its too thin, add in a bit more Greek yogurt and blend briefly.

This smoothie will get your skin glowing, is a slimming though filling snack, is chock full of good-for-your-body ingredients, and tastes awesome.  Its also ready in minutes.  Enjoy!
